Hey Everybody!

Introducing myself.

I’ve been listening to the podcast for over a year. I’ve actually been a member here for a while but never posted anything.

Alexander Guy is my pen name. My real name is Chris Neuhahn. In my 20s I wrote my first novel, an unpublishable ripoff of Alan Dean Foster meets Douglas Adams. I set that dream aside as I started making animated shorts. I’ve worked in TV animation for 20 years, won a couple Emmys and even had a show optioned but it died. Sick of wanting to tell stories that require someone else’s deep pockets to put into the world, I came back to writing novels.

I put out one scifi novella in ‘24 and I knew I wanted to keep doing that, except in Urban Fantasy. I turned one of my numerous unsold show ideas in to a Zeitgeist Checker-failing series that explores the murder and abuse in fairy tales in a Raymond Chandler-esque world.
