Hindenburg Narrator Sound Questions

Those of you who’ve used or are using HN, do you have your audio. mixed and mastered afterward?

I recorded a test sample while teaching myself the ropes of HN and it sounds like I’m in a can. I hate it. The ACX export isn’t much better, and I’m concerned about overall compression messing with the vocals.

Not sure what else I can do to treat my space or settings to get a better sound.
