How Do You Convert Your Status on Goodreads?

I don’t know about you, but navigating Goodreads is a struggle. I’m trying to convert my status from a Goodreads member (reader) to an author. I want to join the Goodreads Author Program. The instructions don’t help much. Have any of you experienced the same thing? Do you need to create a new page? Please, please help!
