How To Record An Audiobook?

I’m looking for resources to teach me how to record an audiobook. I would like to learn the industry standard technical process from beginning to end, and I’m just not sure where to start. Would anyone with experience or insight on this be willing to share their thoughts on where I should start looking?

I’m not looking for advice on microphones (Thomas got us covered on that) nor am I looking for advice on performance or casting, I purely need resources that will teach me the process of recording. Thanks everyone!
