Interviewed by AI

I just interviewed for a side hustle I applied for and the interviewer was AI. It felt futuristic and normal at the same time. Crazy times. Instead of a face, the interviewer was just a pulsating blue dot which, of course, made me think of the iconic red light of Hal9000 from 2001 a Space Odyssey.

I think the interview went well but since there was no emotion and non verbal cues to use for judgement, I suppose it’s anybody’s guess.

If nothing else, it’s great fuel for a sci-fi story.
