Is it just me being needy? UPDATE
UPDATE: As promised, here is my report back after my first live book signing event.
Although I didn’t make a profit, it was a wonderful day.
My book was very well received by the children I read it to at Storytime, and I both parents and children happy by sponsoring a colouring-in competition that kept them busy for a while.
The following photo is of the 3rd prize winner:
Santa himself helped me celebrate the first and second prize winners:
I’m doing it again on the 23rd of this month, and I’m looking forward to it. Thanks again to everyone who has prayed for me and / or supported me in any way. 🥰

Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly grateful for my life.
I'm also very aware that I still haven't let go of some childhood fears and insecurities.
My mind knows what I need to do, and I've been giving my inner child lots of love and attention lately... but she has always been a very stubborn little girl. 😅
My first live event as a published children's book author is a mere 10 days away.... and my inner child is freaking out big time!
It doesn't help to know that it's just because we don't like change and / or unknown things. I don't know what to expect or exactly how to prepare, and that's a scary feeling.
Who relates? ✋
Anyhow, since my old M.O. was to avoid uncomfortable situations, I'm posting this here and now to make it impossible for me to back out.
On Sunday, November 2nd, from 11:00 until 17:00, I will be at the Grand Christmas Gift Fayre, held at Salones Carrasco in Jávea (Costa Blanca, Spain).
I will sell and sign my debut children's picture book, Good Pixie Bad Pixie (and its Spanish translation, Pixie Buena Pixie Mala).
I'm also hosting a colouring-in competition for children between the ages of 4 and 8, and I will read the story out loud (in English and Spanish) at designated times.
I commit to reporting back on the experience no later than Tuesday, Nov. 4th.
I would appreciate good wishes, supportive comments, and / or tips on how to make the most of this experience. 💖
