Is this actually a good comp?

Hello all,

I used the comp finder on my book, and the #1 comp it suggested is Powerless by Lauren Roberts. I’ve since read about half of Powerless to see for myself, and I have a question I’m hoping someone can help me with.

Powerless and my book have a lot of similar elements: dystopian society ruled over by an oppressive leader, drastic class differences between the rich and the poor, “elites” wielding superpowers to control/abuse those who don’t have superpowers, vigilante rebels, slow-burn romance.

However, Powerless is romantasy and my book is soft science fiction with supernatural elements. Is it still a good comp with a difference like that?
