I found this podcast interesting, more from the zeitgeist perspective than craft (there’s a little bit of craft discussion), and interesting that it came out just after the recent post about deleting instagram and social media. The impact of social media described in the novel Super Sad True Love Story and its relationship to our current situation resonates with me. I also found the author’s experiences and viewpoints interesting, positive yet also unsatisfying. I think there’s more. I kept thinking that Christianity has so much to offer in the way of meaning and social connection, as well as beauty, craft, and joy. If anyone has read the novel, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
