Kickstarter-Digital File Delivery

I usually give my digital files to my Kickstarter backers through BookFunnel. It lands on my.bookfunnel.com.

I just noticed that now Kickstarter has a digital files delivery space. I hae mixed feelings about that. First, continuity (other books of a series would be on BookFunnel). Second, space. Will KS start charging us for hosting the files (as BookFunnel does)? Third, longevity. I have a fear that Kickstarter might change their mind and then we will have to backpedal.

I do see two features that could be beneficial. 1) each project has its own set of digital files (2MB max) and 2) you see who has downloaded it.

Any thoughts? Have you used it yet? Do you know when it launched?
