Lead Magnet + Amazon

You helped me so much with my last lead magnet question that I’m back with another! (#sorrynotsorry😂)

In my dreams, I’d start by putting my lead magnet short story up on Amazon at $0.99 with the license that allows them exclusive rights for 90 days. Then I’d use all five of the “free book days” in a row, while promoting it on social media.

After the 90 days, I’d do a different type of contract that would allow me to sell it at the lowest price point possible while using it as a lead magnet on my website.

Can I do this? Is there a contract that would allow me to sell the book on Amazon for pennies while giving it away on my website?

My goal in doing things this way would be to build up some reviews before offering the short story for free, and then to leave it on Amazon in the hopes of attracting more readers.

Pipe dream or possibility? Or are there better ways?
