LLCs Are for Self-Published Authors Too!

Hello, everyone!

I attended the Colorado Gold Writers Conference over Friday and the weekend. One of the tips that was given in two separate workshops is that self-published authors should register as an LLC (prices and terms differ by state). They’re eligible, it adds an extra layer of protection for the author, it helps separate business expenses from personal expenses, and it can compel readers to view an author as more official, or more legitimate if you will.
