My Introduction Post

Hey, gang! I’ve known Thomas for MANY years but am just now getting plugged in to Author Media. I attended the Novel Marketing Conference earlier this month and met some of you there. What an awesome experience that was! For those I didn’t meet, and those I didn’t have much of a chance to share about myself with …

I am the author of Proofreading Secrets of Best-Selling Authors, Editing Secrets of Best-Selling Authors, and the Capitalization Dictionary as well as the editor/compiler of the Fiction Lover’s Devotional series. I’ve been a professional freelance editor since 1998. I own and manage Christian Editors Association, parent organization to the four divisions I founded: The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network, The PEN Institute, PENCON, and Christian Editor Connection. CEA sponsors the Editors’ Choice Award. I have spoken at numerous writers’ conferences for over ten years, directed three of them (Orange County, SoCal, and Mount Hermon), and also put on Christian Writers Retreats at Mount Hermon and in Southern California. If you want to know more about me, you can visit www.KathyIde.com. (I’m currently in the process of updating my website and learning from Thomas’s awesome free course on that!)

I look forward to connected with new friends here and reconnecting with friends I’ve lost touch with over the years.
