My secret weapon...SBDC

Along with absorbing all I can from this group and the podcasts related, I’ve spent this spring working in tandem with our Small Business Development Center.

While I now know more about some things than they do (Thanks @Thomas Umstattd Jr.) the local perspective and the accountability is priceless (and by that, too, I mean FREE).

Our SBDC is helping me brainstorm launch strategies, public reading forums, and helping connect me with libraries and bookstores in the region. Their office also helps with all the business end of things, but again, I’m happy to have signed up for the gift of the Tax and Business Guide for Authors course.
