Natural ways to interview our Timothy

I know Thomas talks a lot about having a Timothy to base marketing and writing on. I actually have three Tomothys selected, based on the age range I write for. Now I’m trying to figure out how to actually implement this as a marketing strategy.

Like, I could just text them blurbs and a question every now and then to see what they like best, but it seems like it would get stilted and feel markety when these are friends. I don’t want the “Timothy relationship” to turn into me taking all the time because I need information. Or am I just overthinking this…?
