New and excited to be here

Hi everyone! I’ve recently discovered the Novel Marketing podcast and may or may not be currently binge-listening to Author Update (my family now regularly hears things like “Thomas says” and “zeitgeist”).

I’d love to meet other like-minded people. I’m an extravert who actually LIKES marketing, promotions, etc. I’m passionate about applying faith to real life in a way that’s culturally relevant, biblically accurate, relationally and emotionally intelligent, trauma-informed and root-cause-oriented. I’m a fiction writer currently learning how to write memoir so I can rescue the first draft of my epic survival story. I feel like a fish out of water in the memoir world because my personal beliefs and values seem to conflict with those who give advice in this category!
