PDF to Word converter?

Kinda writing related…but I figured if anyone would know it would be you guys. I’m trying to see if there is a clean way to convert a PDF to word. I’m formatting an ebook for a client and all they have is the PDF. Meaning I get headers, page numbers, and tons of hyphens mixed into the text which I then have to clear out.

Does anyone have a tool they use to convert PDFs to comparable word files?
