Playing in the patron toolbox

The first thing I did in the toolbox today was request a blurb for my upcoming epic fantasy. It gave me awesome comments like “When King Reinhart III makes his final stand atop the dragon Shethar, the cost of heroism will be measured in the fall of the mighty…” and much more.

That sounds like a great read! Did I put all that in my story!? Wow!

Then I asked for a book cover and it was the best I have yet seen, matching the tone and genre perfectly. I could see it understood the book. I was feeling awesome.

Then I did the Roast Engine which brought me back down a few notches with “The writing is a bloated mess of overwrought sentences…” Ouch.

Well done, Thomas, well done.
