Screen capture software

I need to find an inexpensive software that can record both the screen and separate audio from me. In my work days, I had access to something very expensive, but not in retirement. I apologize for a question that isn’t strictly about writing, but what I want to make will be used on the web. A lot of people here that have a lot of software knowledge. Hopefully, one of you has a suggestion. Yes, I’ve done an online search, but it’s hard to know from that what is actually good. Thanks.
