Synopsis of First Novel of a Trilogy

Hi Everyone,

This is my first attempt at a synopsis of my first novel. Thoughts?

In a world where vampires, witches, and other magical beings coexist, Isana stands at the center of an ancient conflict. Born of an unholy union between a vampire and a witch, she is a vamstrega - a witch/vampire hybrid created for a singular, sinister purpose....to access the Eternal Nexus, an artifact of immense power capable of granting godlike dominion over all realms.

As the story unfolds through multiple viewpoints, including Isana's own, a broader conspiracy takes shape. Maximus, or Max, emerges not only as Isana's unexpected love interest but another vamstrega created by the vampire Vladimir. Like Isana, Max was deceived about his origins and purpose.

Opposing the vampires' designs are Benedetto, an ancient mage and friend to Isana's grandparents, Francis, Isana's grandfather who's a powerful healer, and their magical allies. They recognize Isana and Max's importance but also the grave threat the Eternal Nexus poses.

The sinister forces converge as Malachor and Soren, both dark sorcerers, vie to claim the Nexus for their respective masters, Vladimir and Andor.

Vladimir betrays and destroys Andor, seizing the advantage. But Isana, her confidence bolstered by Max, rises to the challenge. Drawing upon the full extent of her vamstrega abilities, she defeats Vladimir, securing the Eternal Nexus's safety, if only temporarily.

As the first book concludes, misunderstandings between Isana and Max are finally resolved. They marry, their union representing hope for the future. However, the final chapter hints that their challenges are far from over, with the threat of the Nexus still looming, foreshadowing an even greater conflict to come in the next volumes of this romantic, high-fantasy trilogy set in a modern world of magical beings.
