Thomas made my brother hate me

My youngest had her wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. Mom posted on the family text chat for a check-in. I said she was watching Mary Poppins.

—Cue discussion about which Mary Poppins, old actors, and how none of us know any of them —- I mean, we started off with Julia Roberts playing Mary Poppins.

Those who had seen the Emily Blunt Poppins agreed it wasn’t worth watching twice.

Of course, I had to geek out about how Poppins Returns tried to force a 3-act structure on a chiastic story and it didn’t match the culture of the day (Thank you, Thomas) and now my brother wants to unfriend me :( LOL
