unable to add or edit Amazon editorial reviews

Well, here we are in December, over three months since Amazon first blocked my ability (August) to edit or add to my “editorial reviews”, or any other author-central related content for my book.

The “edit” button at the bottom of the book’s page in my author account remains grayed-out, with a banner at the top stating that the editing feature is “under maintenance.” I have contacted them numerous times (six?) over this time period via their contact form, and spoken with them via phone call. Each time they say they know there is a problem and their technical staff is “diligently working to fix the problem,” and that there is “no estimate of the time to finish.”

Come on Amazon, how long can it take for a multi-billion-dollar company to “fix” a technical problem like this?

Is anyone else experiencing this sort of problem? Or am I the only one?

And do I have any other recourse to get this problem addressed?
