Urgent insight needed re Amazon

Hi, friends,

Just before I pushed the send button on my monthly newsletter containing a price change, I checked Amazon and saw something I don’t understand. The newsletter should’ve gone out this morning already, so that’s why I need help urgently.

Last night I changed the price of my softcover from $16.99 to 8.99. But just now, when I went to look at it, there's a slash through the 8.99 and it says $4.99. Did they do that? Will I still earn the royalty as if it's 8.99? As far as I know, I didn't do any Kindle deal, though I was considering it. (I didn't do it bec I planned to leave it at 8.99 through Jan 1.)

Would you please go on Amazon as a new customer and look up Secrets to the Wind by Jeanne Gehret and tell me what you think? Then would you pls advise? You can DM me if you prefer, or answer here.

My designer is waiting for the go-ahead to send my newsletter! And she doesn’t work on Saturday.
