Website security settings

I use Ibuena to cover the legal compliance issues for my newsletter.

I’ve added them to my website for the same reason, and my readership has plummed by 75%.

What do people use to make sure their website is up to date with legal requirements?

This is what it states:

“We and selected third parties collect personal information as specified in the privacy policy and use cookies or similar technologies for technical purposes and, with your consent, for other purposes as specified in the cookie policy.

“Use the “Accept” button to consent. Use the “Reject” button or close this notice to continue without accepting.”

This has been a disaster and my webmistress has not figured out how to configure it properly.

Does WP, perhaps, have a plug in we can use that will accomplish the same legal compliance without destroying the read for visitors?
