Website Upgrades/Change

I found my preferred domain name on Namecheap and it’s available. However, when I went to my current free website version on Wix to connect the domain name I realized I have to upgrade my website in order to do so. Which then made me start thinking…should I create a new website or keep my current one on Wix and just upgrade to a pro plan? I am also looking at connecting a ConvertKit Newsletter landing page. Does anyone use Wix’s pro plan? Is it worth the price? Is there another website that would be better for these upgraded features I want to use? I am also hoping to add a podcast link since I’m working on a podcast right now.
