What are your top 3 Kickstarter Tips?

I am getting ready to launch my debut novel on Kickstarter in the coming may and I wanted to reach out and get your best tips on running a publishing Kickstarter.
This will be my second Kickstarter, and I have listened to every single episode (on and off the topic) that Thomas and James have made, but I want to acknowledge that I am nowhere near an expert and will none the less will still make plenty of mistakes.
That being said…what would you say are your 3 top tips for running a successful Kickstarter?
