What Other Skills Do Editors Need?

Other than actual editing skills such as understanding Chicago Manual of Style rules and writing principles in general, what other skills do editors need in relation to publishing? Do editors need to know how to run a Kickstarter? How to lead a book launch? How to market (and if so, what aspects of marketing are important)? Do they need to know how to get an ISBN or register copyright?
