Why do you write?

I’ve met different authors who write for different reasons.

Some do it to make money for their business (educate, connect, and serve).

Others want to share what they’ve learned. Or they love writing so much, nobody can stand in their way of it.

All have had varying success with it (though way more success than I thought possible).

I’ve yet to meet an author who wants to make money from selling their book as their primary reason, though I’ve heard of them.

I’d love to hear y’all’s purpose for writing.

Here’s mine and it’s a combo: To support my family, because I love stories, and I like creating something physical in the world.
