Zeitgeist Question

Recently, I listened to several podcasts about the zeitgeist, including ones by Thomas. This question came to mind:

Do different generations have different zeitgeist?

Are Gen Xers the grimdark? Millenials grimbright? Gen Z noblebright?

Or am I completely confused/wrong?
