■       the main character discovers the hero inside to stand against an oppressive adversary to save others.

■       An unexpected lowly, even reluctant, person discovers the hero inside them and sacrifices everything for those he or she loves.

●       My Tribe:

○       Kids who have a strong sense of what is right, good and true.

○       The model and person of Jesus is particularly compelling to them.

○       Their heart aches at injustice in all its forms.

○       They care deeply about their family and friends and see themselves as protectors, willing to sacrifice for the good of others.

○       They read books to see themselves do great things through the main character.

○       My books allow them to see themselves as heroes, portraying the sacrificial love of Jesus in this world.
