Homework Day 1

My book fits into the entertainment category.

Value statement: The Purple Heart will keep the reader laughing and on edge as the characters deal with typical middle-age issues at home and school.

I am going to leave the television off until all homework is complete. I might cut down the length of my nap time—not signing on a dotted line for this one, though.

Why should someone read my book?

1. My book, The Purple Heart, offers middle-age readers a fun experience in a familiar world —friendship, peer rivalry, bullying issues, school settings, family relationships, and faith.  

2. My book is entertaining with clean humor and lots of suspense.

3. My book is based on Scripture, so the reader can learn along with the characters.

4. My book goes beyond the surface and deals with the characters’ hidden inner needs.

5. My book is the first of a series so the reader can anticipate the next book as the story continues.
