Homework for Day 5

I have been purposely reaching out to people who are early tribe members and who will hopefully influence others to be in my tribe. I have done this mostly with personal contacts or posts on Facebook. It is time for me to take this task on more boldly and not just lurk in the shallow end of the pool.

My goal is to get my website live and to create a reader magnet to build my newsletter email list. I have no idea how to create a meaningful newsletter and I am hoping for ideas on this.

I raised my children on the musical - (not the movie) Les Miserables

I will take a guess at some common themes. I love music, I love happy endings, I love to see good people who struggle and change as they turn to God and goodness. I love to see good people receive the fruit of their labors as they through unsurmountable circumstances conquer the many stumbling blocks and evil that are strewn on their paths.

My Timothy(s) are parents who are good parents but who need a bit of encouragement and direction in raising their children. This is where I want to engage my email list. I want to meet parents where they are at, celebrate their successes, validate that parenting is really heard, and then encourage them that parenting does not have to feel like a chore and that it can be fun as they engage with and teach their children.

I am trying to spend time each day looking over websites so that I can gather ideas for what I want my website to look like. I have also been utilizing beta readers for feedback and catching up on emails from potential tribe members.

I have to take things one day at a time or my mind becomes flooded and I shut down.
