Last Day Dreams...

Having launched 2 books incorrectly--one survived and flourished, the chapter book is on life support...I'd like to get things set up for a launch of my new picture book. I'm planning for an October release. There's some time for ideas to shift and morph, but here's what strikes me today:

• Join at least 3 in person events: library, boutiques

• Create an engaging trailer--to precede launch--something that kids and their adults can relate to and enjoy.

Maybe include some clips of folks talking about why the most magical time of the year (Christmas) is also the most stressful...Ask--What is YOUR Christmas Wish?

• Both of my previous books have discussion question knitted into the storyline. I will do that again with this book.

I'm sure there's much more that will occur to me as the event gets closer. Having a start helps me not to fall into the pit of not knowing what to do. I can build ,change and rework these ideas--
