Day #1 Homework - How to Sell Yourself - Suzuko Shigemitsu

“Why should someone read my book?”

1. It is an adventure fantasy about hope (with a promise of a happy ending).

2. It is a collection of fish-out-of-water stories of different people learning to survive in a foreign world in their own ways.

3. It is a collection of stories about faith and what people treasure (whether its material things, status, or values that define who they are).

4. It is a collection of stories about faith and what people treasure (whether its material things, status, or values that define who they are).

5. It is a collection of stories about faith and what people treasure (whether its material things, status, or values that define who they are).

My book fits in Education

My book is an educational fantasy about how to survive in a foreign world (for this case, a fantasy world) such as learning languages, local customs, and getting along with the natives of that place. As the reader follows the lead characters, they will share struggles, laughter, and joys in discovering that despite that harshness of living in a different environment, there is beauty, wonder, and hope found as well.

Things I am going to stop doing to make time to take this course and to launch my book:

  • stop visiting Facebook and Instagram (and other social media I visit frequently)

  • stop watching TV shows, the news, and Youtube (which makes me reluctant to get things done)

  • stop complaining especially when I am stressed

  • putting a pause in attending my favourite bi-weekly writers group.
