Homework #13 - How to Create a Launch Calendar - Sue Shigemitsu

  1. Share the two to three-sentence press pitch for your book.

  • This is hard for me because the book I am working on has multiple characters/POV (about 3 to 4 characters per a book).

  • Take 8 boys from Earth (from different backgrounds with various prejudices), put them in a strange world where they do not understand the language or culture. Add an evil army that threatens to destroy that world the boys are stuck in and 5 princesses whose will change that world.


  1. Create a one month launch calendar in as a google doc and share a link to it on Facebook (make sure to set permissions where anyone with a link can view the doc).

  • Because I have yet to finish the book (and don’t have plans for a book launch this year), I created a mock calendar and took a screenshot instead to see what it would look like.


  1. Share a link to your media kit page (if you have one).

  • None, yet. I still have trouble knowing what this is.
