Homework #2 for Jim

What promise to reader: A well paced sci/fi space opera with a rich world and pop-out-of-the-page characters, which is also embedded with the search for meaning and truth through Christian principles.

What comes to mind when people think of you? Contemplative, shy.

What is the empathy you have for your readers? I know my readers have similar problems/fears/desires to my protagonist. I think the ways I show Russ improving his life would help them too.

What is the authority I have? I have a lot of knowledge built up over years in the areas of science, politics, economics, and my faith. I think my situations and character interactions are fairly realistic.

Authority to explore my themes: I've lived them to a certain extent, not in the same way as in my scifi novel, of course. But the novel is a reflection of our current world and its problems.

Target reader one sentence: A conservative adult or late teen who likes space opera with rich world-building and pop-out-of-the-page characters.

The rest of Jim's homework will require more time for research - I'll have to get to it tomorrow.
