  1. Share where you are at with building your email list and what you feel your next step is or what your biggest challenge is.

  • I have yet to build my email list and I would like to say I am starting to create my email list. This is a new thing (and foreign) thing for me as I have sent newsletters in the past, but not for writing.


  1. Share your carrot (lead magnet) on the Facebook group, or your idea for the lead magnet you plan to make.

  • For first time subscribers I give a digital copy/pdf of an unpublished/unreleased short story that I wrote as a sample of my writing/genre.

  • Provide links to my webpage with samples of illustrations (on character designs or world making designs about my work in progress).


  1. Share a subject/email that your readers really responded to.

  • Have not experienced that yet.
