HW#11 Psycho
How do you plan to use urgency to motivate people to buy your book today instead of tomorrow?
I could encourage readers to help me reach bestseller list. I didn’t think it was possible until I rank #1 in new release, but I think we can do it now. Also, will be retiring first short story as free. Get my book now and join newsletter list to get the prequel which gives key backstory for book 1. Prequel is more compelling after you read book 1.
Next book: start at lower price and tell them price will increase.
How do you plan to use scarcity to make your book more valuable?
Maybe sometime down the line when all books are released, I might do kickstarter for special hardback editions, if all goes well.
How do you plan to make your book more ubiquitous so that it is more available?
I went wide, not amazon only. But it’s taking apple and B&N forever to verify me so I can get my book up. Start very early if you want to use them!
How do you plan to use social proof to make your book more popular?
Use strong release to encourage people to join the momentum. Share but keep the mystique.
How do you plan to use anchoring to make your book look like a bargain?
Amazon is already doing this by comparing my ebook to paperback &b other versions which are pricier.
How do you plan to show authority?
Show my understanding of genre by using proper fantasy tropes in my book.
Look like my brand. I made a conscious effort to dress to convey the “air” of my other world at my launch party.
Use reader magnets to show my writing.
I have written all the books in the series, so the whole story is consistent with increasing quality in each book.
How you plan to throw a banquet for your readers?
Be responsive to my readers when they contact me. Show interest & enthusiasm toward them. Writing extra reader magnets to have backstory for each book, which is a lot of work for me, but I want my readers to have this extra info. Constantly update and tweak my website so that it is relevant and interesting to readers. Strive to make my blogs more delightful to my readers. Ask them what they want.
