HW #14-Rachel Greco (Blogging about Books!)

My Fantasy Reading Challenge article has been my most visited and commented on post:

So, my current blog is geared for teenage fantasy/sci-fi fans (in the general market), and I’d like your feedback on ideas for future posts/overall content and which you think would be best for this area. I’ll ask my subscribers, but I still have a small group of them.

  • Which Brandon Sanderson Book Should I Read (Next)?

    • I’m not sure if I want the ‘next’ in there or not, depending on whether they’ve already read him. I’d really like to target both: beginners and fans who aren’t sure what to read next of his books

  • Banned Books Every Teen Should Read

    • Someone (not in this class) suggested that I should write about themes and topics that would help teens in English class, like character arcs and universal themes in literature or how to deconstruct a novel. However, this doesn’t necessarily draw in the fantasy/sci-fi lovers to my site (though it would help bring in teens). Thoughts?

  • How to Kill the Joy of Writing in Teenagers (and How to Prevent it)

    • See note above-not sure if this is the right style.

  • Which Famous Dragon Would You Be?

  • The 10 Best Fantasy/Sci-Fi Podcasts to Listen To

  • Fantasy Books for Gryffindors (and do the same for the other Hogwarts Houses)

I’d also greatly appreciate your feedback about whether I should cater to more fantasy fans (which is the current title of my blog) or focus more on answering teens’ problems and being a resource for them. Or can I do both? Or should I have two separate blogs? One is definitely more fun for me (the fantasy side), but I’d love to hear your thoughts.
