I chose “Soul’s Gate” by @James L. Rubart. Whenever anyone asks me what my favorite novel is, I always answer “Soul’s Gate.”

BEFORE:

MY ATTEMPT:

 Reece Roth thought his days of adventure were over, but God had other plans. Called by God, Reece must find four seemingly ordinary people and train them to be warriors of the spirit realm where they will battle for healing, freedom, and their very lives.

The forces of darkness will stop at nothing to keep these warriors from stepping into their destiny. To survive, Reece must face his greatest regret, his greatest failure.

The warriors are the only ones who can battle the coming darkness, but can they step into their new identities, learn to trust one another, and work as a team? If they can’t, the world will plunge into a dark age unlike before it.
