HW #8 Email journey

●      Share where you are at with building your email list and what you feel your next step is or what your biggest challenge is.

○      I have about 450 subscribers on the Aweber platform. I’m trying to switch over to ConvertKit, but have run into an issue with email templates. ConvertKit is apparently better for all text messages, but I use StoryOrigin for newsletter swaps, which requires clickable images. I’m sure I can add an image to my email template, but I haven’t figured out how to do it yet.

●      Share your carrot (lead magnet) on the Facebook group, or your idea for the lead magnet you plan to make.

○      I’ve written five stories (four stand-alone books and one four-book series) with the same characters. I’m currently working on a prequel to all the books that I can use as a reader magnet.

●      Share a subject/email that your readers really responded to.
