HW#12 Launch with Questions

●     Share two or three of what you think are the strongest elements of your launch day campaign.

I like the idea of making short videos about the genesis of the book idea, or why certain scenes got deleted. I’ll just have to do so in a non-spoiler manner. I also like recommending other books. It takes the focus off of me and let’s me bless someone else.

My main social media is Twitter/X so I’ll be posting there and highlighting any blog tour stops, YouTube interviews, or podcast interviews. I’ll also be posting to Threads, Instagram and my Facebook page.

Canva is a great tool for creating SM images. If you haven’t checked it out, you should.

 ●     Ask for feedback on ideas you’re not sure about.

Question: In the homework document, it mentions “Ask your Launch Team to finalize their reviews.” But if we followed Thomas’ earlier advice and had our launch team preorder, they wouldn’t have read the book yet to be able to post a review. Is there something I’m not understanding?

Question: Jim mentions to not obsess over your Amazon numbers. Wouldn’t those numbers provide a good “social proof” as Thomas discussed in lesson 11?

 ●     Share your drip campaign with the group.
