Rewrite a past Newsletter

This was my most recent based on information I was reading from someone else's course I was taking. However, even though over half opened it, I received no replies.

I changed the second one up a bit today(Sunday) after rereading it because It still sounded mostly about me.

Hello, Everyone !

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend.

I was wondering, since you are an email subscriber, if you could do me a favor. If you have read one of more of my books, could you reply to my email and tell me what it is you liked about it, or them? It doesn't have to be lengthy, just a simple answer about what it was that you enjoyed about my book(s).

See, reviews are an authors bread and butter. Without them we don't sell books, and just a few seconds of your time could really help me out here.

Thanks so much for your time and have a blessed day.

My rewrite

Hello book fans,

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter weekend or Easter break.

Since you are all email subscribers, you get the privilege of occasional free content. I hope to, very soon, bring you an exciting new short story about a past character in one of my books. But first, I need you all to tell me which character you would most like to have a free short story about? So, do me a favor and send in your vote by replying to this email.

I do read each and every email I get, so trust me when I tell you, your vote will count.

Whichever character gets the most vote, wins.

Now, another reason for the email. For those of you who have read my books, would you do me a huge favor? When you reply to this email with your short stoey character choice, could you also give me a short, one-sentence, statement saying what you most liked about my book(s)? That would be most helpful. It will only take you a few seconds, okay, maybe up to a minute to do this, but it would mean a lot to me.

Thanks for being an email subscriber and I hope to hear from you soon.

Blessings,

Shawna/S.G. Boudreaux
