*FOUND* Beta Reader Needed for Fairytale/Fantasy Short Story
I am looking for a beta reader to give me feedback on a short story (less than 5000 words) that I am submitting to a fantasy therapy/mental health themed anthology.
It is titled, “Mrs. Fairy Godmother's Therapist” and is set in a modern day fairy tale setting (think Shrek 2). The main character, Sophie, is a therapist trying to help Mrs. Fairy Godmother work through some issues.
The editor of the anthology gave me some feedback and I revised it accordingly, so I need to know if it worked before I send it back. I've exhausted my list of beta readers (they read the other drafts) so I thought I would turn here.
Mainly I am looking for:
Does the main character's personality come across, as well as her beliefs and conflict with Mrs. Fairy Godmother?
Are her motivations and growth clearer?
Any other thoughts, comments, or confusions
Feedback would be given in a Google Doc with commenting only. It can also be converted to Word if that's easier.
Although I can't pay, I would be willing to do a beta read for you as well.
