Needed: ARC readers for upcoming sci-fi thriller
Hey everyone!
I’m gonna be publishing my debut sci-fi thriller in a few weeks, and I’m looking to find ARC readers for my book. Here’s what I’m looking for, and what to expect.
Expectations:
-ARC reader can finish the novel in 2-4 weeks
-Is willing to leave comments during reading pointing out any errors spotted or answer some questions upon telling me they completed reading the book to confirm they finished it
-Will commit to posting pre-release reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, Smashwords, and/or other platforms
What to expect:
-Novel length: 600 pages (including a galactic map and several blank pages to keep structure)
-Target audience: 13-26-year-old’s, though some children aged 10-12 could also read it
-Elaborate and detailed worldbuilding with a slow to medium-paced story
-Viewing link will be for a Google Doc
-ARC readers may interact with others (I’m not responsible for any awkward conversations that arise between ARC readers; just a heads up)
Blurb:
Jonas A. Lucado is a brilliant young cadet at a space force academy on Earth. Yet, he is unsure if he will be placed on an SKS starship — his ultimate dream: an assignment to the bridge crew. However, when he sees something he wasn’t supposed to see, he is stripped of his rank, transferred to a menial job aboard the frigate Royal Louis, and is ordered to be an observer when not working in the grime of the ship’s recycling center.
The mission of the Royal Louis is unique — travel to a mysterious star system where ships suspiciously vanish. When the captain and first officer are abducted by natives of the system, a conspiracy involving the natives of the system and a declining interstellar empire rises to the surface, forcing the Royal Louis to stop an army of alien terrorists in their warpath. And it seems Jonas may end up on the bridge of a starship as a result.
