((Hired)): Developmental Editor for short story

I’m looking for a developmental editor that would be willing to edit my short story of about 7500 words. I’m working on writing for readers and not for myself and to expand my knowledge of writing character arcs especially but the craft of writing as a whole. I’ve studied a ton of different books but now I need professional eyes to see what I’ve seen to much of and can’t differentiate anymore, or that I think I’m doing well but may not be doing well at all.

I’m aiming my book at audiences from the Midwest/Appalachia that are typically red leaning. I write for women but the AI of Thomas’s say i tend to lean towards the male reader. I write in fantasy this one has a few sci-fi elements but mostly fantasy with mythical element. The main male character is Anubis from ancient Egyptian mythology. This is written for adults (no sex but violence on the page)
