Hi, I’m Daniel. I’m an indi author and professional graphic designer with over 10 years of experience helping writers present their stories in a way that attracts the right readers.

I specialize in eye-catching, "pick me up" book covers that communicate genre, tone, message and story on a shelf or on a phone screen. I make covers that connect with your intended reader.

Special Edition Formatting

For authors who want a more elevated book interior, I offer special edition formatting with decorative chapter pages, ornamental breaks, custom styling, and a more designed reading experience.

Book Cover Pricing

I aim to keep my work affordable without sacrificing professional quality.

First front-cover concept: $300 flat

Revisions and refinements: $55/hour, billed only as needed

If I nail the concept early, you keep costs low. If additional refinement is needed, you’re always informed and in control.

For full paperback covers, including spine and back cover layout, we continue hourly after the front cover direction is approved.

Formatting Pricing

Formatting pricing depends on the length and complexity of the book.

I offer formatting for:

  • Ebooks

  • Paperbacks

  • Special editions

  • Decorative interiors

  • Author copies and print-ready files

My Process

  1. You email me your book details, including genre, audience, summary, comparable titles, manuscript length, trim size if known, and any initial vision.

  2. I review the project and confirm the scope.

  3. For covers, I design the first front-cover concept.

  4. You review the design and request revisions if needed.

  5. Once the front cover is approved, we continue with the spine, back cover, or additional formatting work.

  6. Final files are prepared for your publishing platform.

A Note About AI Assets

I use some AI-generated assets as a starting point in many cover projects, then heavily redesign, refine, composite, and polish them by hand. The final cover is intentional, professional, and never generic or “AI-looking.”
