I am a freelance copyeditor and proofreader who helps authors feel confident about sharing their writing with the world.

Getting your manuscript ready to publish is a huge step, and my experience and encouragement will be valuable in the editing process.

If your writing group or event is looking for someone to teach about editing, I can help with that as well. I have spoken to four local/regional writing groups in person and on Zoom, and I am on the faculty of the 2026 ACFW Virginia virtual conference.

-How to find and work with a freelance editor (including the various types of editing and what you need for indie vs trad publishing)

-Style guides and common style mistakes for authors
