Most of you know me, but for anyone I haven’t met yet, hi. I’m Xavier Schwindt, and I write darkish epic fantasy that hurts and heals.
I recently launched a side business called Indie Author Web.
A professionally built author website can cost $1,000 or more. The affordable alternative often means sacrificing a weekend to learn a drag-and-drop editor when you would rather work on your next book.
I’m trying to make that choice less painful by building custom-coded author websites at prices intended for working indie authors.

I handle the copy drafting, design, mobile layout, integrations, and launch. You answer a questionnaire about your books and readers, then I build a private preview for you to review. No meetings are required, which suits me because I’m better with code than calendars.
Since the business is new and my portfolio consists of my own work, I’m offering eight founding slots at about 40% off. I have two discounted slots at each level:
Landing Page: $30
Starter Site: $48
Complete Site: $67
Launch Site: $91
Founding clients receive the same service and ownership as standard clients. In return, I ask for permission to feature the finished website in my portfolio and an honest testimonial if you’re pleased with the work. Once those eight slots fill, the standard prices return.
Managed hosting costs $10 per month or $100 per year. It includes deployment, SSL, domain connection, monitoring, and support. You keep ownership of your domain and website files.

If you’re unsure which package fits, send me your book link, genre, publication plans, and what you want the website to accomplish. I’ll recommend the smallest package that covers it. If the $30 founding option will serve you, I have no interest in talking you into the $91 one.
