Amazon translate to German

I was surprised the other day to start getting KDP messages about unknown titles in German that had been published to the platform.

I realized that when they opened the translation program I agreed to this. Will this hurt or help the sales of translations I paid for? Should I stop this automatic program or wait to see what happens?

They’re clearly just translating my titles into German, but when I did my own, I worked with the AI to craft the most appealing title in German, not just a straight translation. I don’t know if I should go in and re-craft those titles and descriptions, or not bother.

This threw me for a loop, and then yesterday I got the official message— days after the books had been published!
