How to help with the Texas floods

We are now shifting from search and rescue to recovery. There are a lot of people who lost everything to the floods. While we can’t replace their loved ones, we can help them rebuild.

The local organization I’ve personally vetted is the Austin Disaster Relief Effort. This is a local Christian ministry with a long track record of helping during disasters. Several of the churches I’ve attended have hosted ADRN trainings. They are frugal and effective. They are also beloved in the Austin area.

With all the tragedies in Kerrville it is easy to overlook the devastation in the Austin area. Travis county currently has 7 deaths and Williamson county has 3 deaths.

ADRN is helping both in the Austin area and in the Kerrville area. You can learn more about how you can help here.

I’m giving a free month of the Patron Toolbox to any non patron who donates any amount to ADRN. Just forward your receipt to me after you donate to ADRN.
